It is bad because parts are expensive.

It's a fine idea if you have the means. Look at that thing.
Good heavens, Miss Sakamoto, it's beautiful.

it's a horrible idea!! I mean it has a decent price, low km for its age, is right hand drive, looks clean and in good condition. It's JDM as FXXK (*giggle*), why would you want such a thing? :)

Oh ok, yeah I'm weary of the reliability.

It's a bad idea because it isn't a GTS-T or a GT-R.

I was looking at GTS-Ts too, but what's the difference really?

it's a bad idea because it's slow as hell... 155hp and quite heavy too... so no. just no. GTS are no GTS-T or GTr. They kind of suck really...

I'm pretty sure the engine is the only difference. The GTS-T came with an RB20DET, but the GTS had an RB20DE.
It's weird now that I look at the ad— it looks like this guy has a GTS-T. The engine bay is clearly factory turbo and the VIN plate says RB20DET. It doesn't affect the price too greatly, but this guys doesn't even know what car he has...

...Heavy? It weighs as much as a BRZ.

Well, yes... 155hp for 1300kg is A LOT.... A 1.8 NA or NB miata has a better power/weight ratio...
Maybe it's light by american standards, but for a Japanese sports car it's rather heavy.

It's not heavy. Not for Japan or America. You wanna' tell me that it's under powered? Sure. Heavy? You're out of your mind. 2700 is absolutely not heavy.
Someone's been watching too much Initial D.

The R32 is a SMALL car... it's not a R33 or a R34... it's really small.
That a 1990 two door car with not much electronics and a small engine weights as much as a 2014 car with a shitload of electronics, confortable electric seats and all the modern comfort a car can get makes it a heavy car.
I mean... this is from the same year and it's 75kg lighter:

Forgot to mention... I actually live in Japan, so I don't really need Initial D to see R32s everyday lol

The BRZ is a small, 4-cylinder, 2-seater coupe with aluminum body panels. The R32, with its inline-6, for its time, was an entry level luxury car. A 3-series fighter. It wasn't that small for its time. Nor is that at all relevant.
Like I said. Someone's been watching too much Initial D.
And this isn't even about its weight in comparison to other vehicles of its time. As a generality 2700 lbs is not a heavy car. It's a fantastic base to work with.
For comparison an R32 GTR weighs between 3200-3300 lbs. That's nearly as much as what my modern WRX weighs. So, again, no, the GTS is not heavy. You're still completely out of your mind.

No, I just think people have no more idea of what a LIGHT car is. And as I said, I don't need Initial D for anything (haven't actually watched it very much), R32s are everywhere here.
A 1990 320i weights nearly 200kg (175kg actually to be exact, yes 400lbs) less than a GTS. It also has a 6cyl engine.
